Patented magnetic latching mechanism enables these buckles to be quickly latched and unlatched easily with one hand. However, although the latching mechanism on these buckles is easily operated with one hand, specific directional forces are required to unlatch and open it, making random, unintended opening of these buckles very unlikely, if not impossible. Constructed of high impact plastic and stainless steel with sealed magnets.
