This Mil-Spec Nylon Webbing consists of a Double Plain Weave with with a 550 lb. (247 kg) break strength. Commonly used as edge binding tape, backing and material reinforcement. Nominal thickness is 0.035″ (0.889mm) and weighs about 0.35 oz. Per linear yard. (11.6g per meter). Available in Olive Drab Only. Unlike Grosgrain ribbon, this tape like webbing has a strength rating, allowing it to be used in engineered applications.

Overall this is a strong, narrow webbing with a medium density weave and good smoothness properties. In civilian use, this webbing would make great pull straps for small items in tight compartments like battery packs and specialized equipment that needs to be inserted and removed in spaces without room for bulky, inflexible plastic or metal handles. Note: lengths over 100 feet may not be one continuous piece. No refunds after order is cut. Not intended for life safety devices. Refer to appropriate manuals for correct field usage.
