*** NOTE *** 6/22/2021 - NEW COLOR POLICY for this material. Due to the specialized industrial
and functional nature of this material as opposed to aesthetic or color concerns;
this material will vary between lots from Black to some shade of Grey. This is due
to the increased quantities required for minimum production runs. If you really
need a specific color, we can have it produced for you, but the minimum order would
be at least 5000 yards.
A heavyweight 20 oz. per square yard industrial fabric
for high temperature applications requiring flexibility and ease of sewing. Base
fabric will withstand temperatures of up to 1,000F and is woven from 100% continuous
strand fiberglass, that is completely different from fiberglass insulation products
that use short strand fibers that easily become airborne.
This material is
heavily coated with a specially formulated silicone rubber with a temperature resistance
range of -65F to 500F, this coating adds strength to the material, prevents fraying,
and encapsulates the fiberglass fabric making it extremely durable and abrasion
resistant.
The proprietary silicone coating is formulated with flame and
smoke suppressants, and UV inhibitors for high durability in the harshest conditions.
Resists water and most industrial chemicals including oil and gas and most other
petroleum distillates. Cut to order in One Yard increments. No refunds after order
is cut. This fabric is approximately 0.017" thick. One Yard = 60 inches wide X 36
inches long (Approximately)
