Snap Hooks With Side Retainer MILSPEC
for 1" webbing. MIL-S-43770/2A

These Snap Hooks feature an alternate latch
 design that helps prevent snagging and "twist
 outs" associated with regular military style snap
 hooks with the spring flexing latch design.

The side retainer consists of formed sheet metal
 that hinges on the webbing loop portion of the
 hardware piece. Dimples on both sides of the
 retainer, catch on the point of the hook and hold
 securely. Retainer can be tension adjusted with
 pliers and screw driver to increase or decrease
 holding force if needed.

Curved design of retainer, redirects force of
 ring or other object secured by the hook to
 enable the retainer hold tighter; preventing
 the secured item from twisting out of the hook
 and releasing itself during periods of abrupt
or forceful movement and shock. 

Black Anodized finish reduces visibility and
helps  prevent corrosion. Not intended for life
 safety devices. Refer to appropriate manuals
 for correct field usage. Meets Military
 Specifications described above.
