This Heavy Polypropylene Webbing has a very coarse weave, and is made specifically for industrial clasps and buckles that require more friction to bind or lock properly. Polypropylene is easier to clean than Nylon and less expensive too. Available in 10 popular COLORS. Rated tensile strength 1600 Lbs. Cut to order. Note: lengths over 100 feet may not be one continuous piece. No refunds after order is cut.
2 inch polypropylene webbing finds its way into many household products, medical devices, food service applications and children's products. Makes great shoulder straps, and harnesses for cleaning equipment and chemical sprayers, string trimmer safety harnesses, also food and beverage transportation containers. This heavy poly webbing, is stiffer, and because of it's easy to clean and non absorbent properties, is used in applications where frequent cleanup and disinfecting is required, but high lifting and tensile strength are not of high importance. For example, this polypropylene webbing would make a great strap for a diaper bag, picnic basket, or emergency medical supplies bag, but it wouldn't make a good tow strap or industrial rigging.
