Heat Shield 2 Double Sided
Aluminized Mylar

 Thermal Reflective/Insulating Material

This second generation space-age material 
is a Medium weight 5 oz. black opaque vinyl,
 laminated on both sides with Aluminized Mylar. Formulated with extra UV protector to enhance reflectivity and prolong the useful life of 
the reflective surfaces. 

 Not only is it completely waterproof and 
opaque to light, it has an Insulation "R" value
 of .770. This material reflects heat and cold,
 so it will help keep hot items hot, and cold 
items cold. Much more flexible that original 
Heat Shield, and lighter weight also. This 
material was originally designed for an 
undisclosed customer for an undisclosed end 
use. The manufacturer of this material can 
not offer any suggested uses for it. Some of
 our customers use this material to make photographic reflectors or photography reflector panels for use in flash photography. We also have Regular Heat shield which has a lower level of reflectivity and is only aluminum coated on one side, with the other side white.
